There are a lot of songs where John shows his inner world a lot. To name a few, I can tell you about "Julia", "Across The Universe", "In My Life" and "My Mummy's Dead". This last one is short, but I feel a knock on the throat whenever I hear to it:

Oh wow, I've never hird of "my mummy's dead" id kinda sad... but still, I'd vote for Imagine too. The main emotion is hope, and that the hope never dies , he believes in the people and the world, that they can be better. It's so peaceful.
