I said I'd do this forever ago, but then I forgot. Anyway, Cheap Trick did a series of concerts covering the entirety of The Beatles "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" album, which the Fab Four themselves never did bc they'd stopped doing live shows by that point. Anyway, if you wanted to see an actual band rather than some random tribute act do Sgt Pepper's, this was your best chance. They also released an album, which is perhaps a little pointless bc if I wanted to hear Sgt Pepper on CD/mp3/whatever, I could listen to The Beatles, but it's still kinda cool. Also Robin had a special sparkly Sgt Pepper coat made for the occasion, because of course he did. |
